I had a mixed experience at Herbert Samuel Opera Tel Aviv. The hotel's location is fantastic, just steps from the beach, and the room was clean and spacious. However, I faced significant issues with housekeeping and communication from the staff, which detracted from my overall stay.

Rooms
7.0
The Deluxe Double Room with City View I stayed in was quite spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the aesthetic of the room, although the view wasn't as lovely as others might have had.
Service
5.0
Service was lacking during my stay. I had to deal with housekeeping issues, including my room not being cleaned for two days, and calls to the reception went unanswered. While some staff were friendly, the overall communication was poor.
Location
10.0
The location is excellent and truly the highlight of my stay. Being so close to the beach was incredibly convenient for enjoying the beautiful shoreline. Plus, it’s easy to get around Tel Aviv and Jaffa from here.
Dining
5.0
While breakfast was decent, it was quite limited. I was surprised to find out only late during my stay that I could order extra items from the kitchen, which was not communicated well.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities overall were fine, and I appreciated services like room service and laundry. However, the cleanliness of shared facilities like the pool area could be markedly improved.

5.0/10

I had a mixed experience at Herbert Samuel Opera Tel Aviv. While the location is fantastic and the room was comfortable, I faced some significant service issues during my stay. The disturbances from both the fire alarm and housekeeping left me quite frustrated, despite the overall quality of the room.

Rooms
6.0
My Deluxe Room was spacious, well-furnished, and incredibly comfortable, which I appreciated given that I needed a good night's rest before my meeting.
Service
5.0
I encountered several service issues, notably the false fire alarm at 6 AM and an unannounced visit from housekeeping at 9 AM, which woke me up. My complaints to the front desk were met with apologies but no resolution regarding the disturbances.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is excellent, right on the beach and within walking distance to public transport and attractions like Carmel Market.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was nice but limited, and I only discovered that I could order more from the kitchen near the end of my stay.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities, including room service and housekeeping, left much to be desired. There was a lack of attention to detail, such as replenishing toiletries and cleaning the pool area effectively.

I had a pleasant stay at Herbert Samuel Opera Tel Aviv with a beautiful view of the beach and a great location. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but I felt the dining options could use some improvement. Overall, it was a good experience for the price I paid, though there was room for some enhancements in the breakfast selections.

Rooms
8.0
My Deluxe Family Room was neat and spacious, though it lacked a good view as it overlooked the lobby.
Service
9.0
The staff was courteous and helpful, especially Shai and Moti at the front desk, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally situated on the beach, providing easy access to the waterfront, though the surrounding area feels a bit rundown compared to other parts of Tel Aviv.
Dining
7.0
While the breakfast was adequate, I found the choice of fresh fruit lacking which could be improved for a hotel of this caliber.
Facilities
6.0
The small pool area offers a nice view, but it felt too limited in size for more than just a photo opportunity.

7.2/10

My recent stay at Herbert Samuel Opera Tel Aviv was a mixed experience. I truly appreciated the excellent location and the beautiful views from the pool area, but I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness and the slow service during breakfast. Overall, it had its ups and downs, which affected my overall enjoyment.

Rooms
7.0
The Deluxe Double Room with a city view was spacious, but the bathroom was quite tiny with limited space for toiletries.
Service
6.0
Service was lacking; the staff seemed understaffed and untrained. I had issues with the reception not answering calls and had to personally request toilet paper.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, right on the beach and close to vibrant areas with great restaurants within walking distance.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was nice with beautiful views, but the selection was limited, and it took a while for the staff to replenish dishes. I would have enjoyed more communication about ordering extras from the kitchen.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like room service and maintenance were okay, but the cleanliness of the changing room by the pool was alarming, which detracted from my overall experience.

My stay at Herbert Samuel Opera Tel Aviv had its ups and downs. The location was unbeatable, right by the beach, and I even got an upgrade that provided a lovely view. However, some aspects, like the cleanliness and professionalism, could use serious improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The Superior Double Lobby View Room was surprisingly nice, especially with the sea view. The shower and bathroom were spacious. But I noticed the hallways needed updates, and there was leftover food in the fridge from previous guests.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly, and I appreciated their efforts, but I felt the hotel was understaffed. For instance, when I needed assistance with taxi bookings, they seemed unsure how to help. Also, late-night sirens occurred with no guidance on what to do.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location is a major highlight—super close to the beach and a great value compared to other options in Tel Aviv. It made exploring the region super easy.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Drinks were served in plastic cups, and options were limited. I ended up appreciating the nearby coffee shops more than the hotel dining.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were okay, but some things like the pool area needed more attention to cleanliness. I noticed glasses and towels left around, which detracted from the experience. Plus, I didn't have access to the pool, which was a letdown.
